Zhengzhou Shanhai Calligonum Museum is the only museum in China that collects Calligonum cultural relics, with 553 sets (5925 pieces) for the record. Zhengzhou Shanhaiguo Museum is a group member of the National Museum Society, a deputy director of the China Collectors Association, a sponsor of the shellfish culture research committee of the China Cultural Information Association, a popular science education base in Henan Province, and an excellent non-state-owned museum in Zhengzhou. Since its opening, it has been open to the public free of charge for a long time, receiving 50,000 visitors every year. It is an off-campus classroom for primary and secondary school students in Zhengzhou and the most distinctive museum in Zhengzhou.We make development plans from five aspects: scientific research, social education, protection and management of cultural relics, team building and building of museums.

A museum's scientific research work

6. Under the guidance of China Cultural Information Society, we will carry out research on shellfish culture and explore the inheritance of shellfish carving arts and crafts, and strive to determine the inheritor of shellfish carving and declare it as an intangible cultural heritage project in Henan Province within five years.

7. Every year, we will strive to publish a specialized book on the knowledge of cultural relics in the world, publish 10 monographs, and publish a collection of essays every two years (internally), so as to create systematic and detailed basic scientific research materials for the study of cultural relics in the world.

8. Set up an interactive exhibition hall for popular science education with the participation of the audience, so as to let the audience know about it in an all-round way from the aspects of its growth process, species, material content and texture of shells, learn about its cultural relics and increase its protection.

Construction of four teams

Construction of five buildings

2. Increase the exhibition area. On the basis of the original five exhibition halls, add three porcelain exhibition halls, increasing the exhibition area by 400 square meters.
